Job Description:

The Electrical Drafter develops working drawings that adhere to company and industry standards and codes from equipment specifications and detailed schematics. Ensures designs meet reliability and safety standards contributing to cost containment efficiency and profitability. Works under direct supervision while demonstrating an increasing understanding of materials methods and design principles. Extensive experience in SolidWorks Electrical is essential as most work will be conducted within this program. Must be skilled in AutoCAD capable of creating detailed and accurate drawings. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders. Familiarity with electrical layouts cable harness design and cable management. Degree in Electronics Technology Drafting or a similar discipline is preferred.

Qualifications:

Completion of an associate degree in Electronics Technology Drafting or similar discipline with 4 years of related drafting experience. Alternatively 6 years of related drafting experience in lieu of a degree. Relevant industry experience is highly advantageous providing a solid foundation in drafting practices. Demonstrable experience with both SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD.
