Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Data Governance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles and handson experience with data governance tools particularly Alation and Monte Carlo. In this role you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data governance processes and frameworks leveraging these tools to ensure data quality compliance and overall data management excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance policies standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and enforce data governance best practices.
• Conduct data quality assessments identify data issues and implement remediation plans.
• Utilize Alations data catalog capabilities to enhance data discovery and data lineage.
• Leverage Monte Carlo for
• Establish and monitor data governance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with data stewards and data owners to ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
• Provide training and guidance to endusers on data governance practices and tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Alation and Monte Carlo with other data management and analytics platforms.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data governance and recommend improvements to the data governance program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (3Yrs) in data governance roles preferably with handson experience using Alation/Profisee/Collibra/Monte Carlo.
• Good understanding of modern enterprise data management (Data Lakehouse Data Democratization Data Observability etc.) leveraging cloud data platforms such as Databricks Snowflake PowerBI Azure Data platform
• Strong understanding of data governance principles data management best practices and industry standards (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
• Familiarity with data cataloging data lineage and data quality concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Selfmotivated and able to work independently as well as in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
• Certifications in data governance data management or related fields are a plus.
• Knowledge of Airlines domain is a plus.
