Senior Network Engineer

Scope of Work:

• Creates and supports a standard structured cabling specification.
  
• Installs configures and supports Fortinet hardware and software solutions.
  
• Installs configures and supports Client VPNs IPSEC tunnel VPNs in an MFA secured hybrid environment.
  
• Cloud platform integration and support including Azure and Office 365.
  
• Installs configures and supports virtual servers including HyperV and Azure (Azure networking).
  
• Drives continuous improvement in business processes and increase operational efficiencies.
  
• Installs configures and supports server hardware and operating systems.
  
• Continuously improve security and reliability by monitoring equipment patches and network performance.
  
• Drives continuous improvement in IT processes and increases operational efficiencies.
  
• Works closely with project teams in gathering requirements standing up and configuring the platform.
  
• Nice to have working experience:
  
• in a Manufacturing/ Automotive/ Industrial Setting.
  
• with Avaya VOIP.
  
• with Vendor accounts and contract management.
  
• Other duties can be assigned based on company needs and employee capabilities.
  
  

Requirements

• Must have working experience:
  
• Azure
  
• Hyper V
  
• Fortinet
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT related field or equivalent work experience and/or education.
  
• 5 years experience with Network and systems administration.
