Job Description: Program Associate Gender and Inclusion
Location: Delhi/Remote

Rocket Learning is a highgrowth edtech nonprofit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood
education and community engagement in India. We work with the central government and state
governments to impact over 2.5 mn children. Established by a passionate founding group (IIT IIM
HBS Rochester MBB startup alumni) Board and backed by reputed funders we are a diverse team
of passionate energetic and optimistic folks with a shared ambition of transforming India s education
system.
Overview: In this role you will help conduct Action Research Program Design and Implementation to
strengthen Rocket Learning s initiatives on gendersensitive and genderresponsive pedagogy in Early
Childhood Care and Education across the country.
Key Results
- Generate a comprehensive nationallevel report on gender and inclusion practices in early childhood education in India.
- Ensuring that all Rocket Learning s products (parent product teacher product) create awareness about the importance of gender and inclusion practices and enable caregivers to adopt the relevant practices.
Key Activities
- Research design and implementation to understand status quo of gendersensitive and genderresponsive pedagogies in Anganwadi centers across the country.
- Design and implementation of online and offline initiatives towards creating inclusive early childhood education including content training behaviour change campaigns and nudges.
- Monitoring and Evaluation of Rocket s programs and interventions on inclusion.
Critical Factors for Success
- Background in nonprofit environments on research/program design and implementation
- Seamless communication (written and verbal) and quantitative abilities
- Being actionfocused ensuring that prioritized insights gathered from user testing are implemented
- Close alignment with RLs core values and principles.
- Missiondriven enthusiastic and optimistic committed to transformation.
- Being able to work across teams including content product and operations teams
