Devops Engineer

Job Description:

• BS degree or above in Computer Science Engineering or related field
  
• 3 years experience as a DevOps engineer
  
• Be proficient in at least one scripting language: Shell PHP Python Go Perl PowerShell
  
• Programming experience in any one high level programming language such as JavaScript/Go/Java/C# or C
  
• Have a good understanding of modern cloud centric architectures and DevOps principles
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  
• Good understanding of networking principles and experience with virtual networking.
  
• Experience with at least one infrastructureascode (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  
• Experience with Agile development and CICD tools
  
• Ability to monitor and troubleshooting workload involving large complex systems.
  
• Ability to collaborate optimally across subject areas roles and geographical and time zone boundaries
  
• Quick learner and open to learn new technology
  

Requirements: Should have 5 to 8 years of experience into Core & Advance Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, JPA Knowledge of UML, design patterns, hibernate, SQL Server would be good. Hands on Experience on Web services with REST is a must and SOAP is nice to have. Good Command and hands on experience working on tool set like Eclipse IDE, SQL clients. Experience using Application server like Tomcat, JBoss, Wildfly. Experience with distributed computing is a plus. Familiarity with AWS is a plus. Knowledge on JIRA and AGILE Scrum process would be an advantage . Pro-active in problem resolutions with good coordination skills is desirable.
