HVAC Site Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop HVAC project plans
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems
• Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure system efficiency
• Prepare project progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for equipment and material procurement
• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Manage project documentation and recordkeeping
• Conduct site surveys and assessments
• Resolve any design or installation discrepancies
• Participate in client meetings and address their concerns
• Train site staff on HVAC system operation and maintenance
• Identify and implement costsaving measures
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in HVAC system design installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE IMC IECC)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent problemsolving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Knowledge of energy efficiency principles
• Certification in HVAC system design or installation (e.g. LEED AP NATE)
• Understanding of building automation systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of construction practices and methods
• Commitment to workplace safety
