SAP ABAP Consultant

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP programming language
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of developed programs
• Design and implement data migration and integration processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed programs and processes
• Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP applications and interfaces
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize SAP system performance and implement enhancements
• Participate in system upgrades and new module implementations
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP development processes and standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant or Developer
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration with other systems
• Experience in developing and customizing reports interfaces forms and workflows
• Familiarity with SAP data dictionary and database management
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design efficient technical solutions
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Relevant SAP certifications would be a plus
