Senior Testing Automation Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define test automation strategies
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results
• Identify prioritize and report software defects using a defect tracking system
• Establish testing processes and standards to improve overall efficiency
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to testing automation team members
• Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing process
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure comprehensive test coverage

Required Experience:

• 7 years of experience in automated testing including expertise in web and API automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium and a strong grasp of scripting languages are essential.
• The candidate should also be skilled in traditional manual testing techniques understanding various testing methodologies and able to perform thorough quality assessments.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes coupled with excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
