Alation Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement Alation data catalog solutions
  
• Integrate Alation with other enterprise systems such as BI tools data warehouses and CRM systems
  
• Create and manage Alation data governance policies and workflows
  
• Automate Alation tasks using scripts and APIs
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve Alation issues
  
• Work with crossfunctional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions
  
• Stay uptodate with the latest Alation features and best practices
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
  
• 3 years of experience working with Alation Data Catalog
  
• 2 years of experience in data governance and data management
  
• Experience in requirement gathering technical design and metadata load strategy definition
  
• Experience in scanning different systems with connectors configuring JDBC drivers extracting and building data lineage debugging logs.
  
• Experience in using Alation Data catalog REST API
  
• Experience/understanding in using Alation compose
  
• understanding of access control and role configuration in Alation
  
• Experience in configuring and customizing dashboards in Alation
  
• Experience in designing and implementing migration plans
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  
• Understanding of Database concepts SQL knowledge/experience in Python.
