Head of Central Operations

About the role
As the Head of Central Operations you are responsible to secure a solid framework in order to achieve high quality and costeffectiveness across the Swedish market. You will do this by focusing on operational excellence that covers all aspects of operations including strategy best practices and processes. The team consists of multiple functions such as Assets Fleet and Drivers Traffic Control Control Tower Security and Purchasing. In addition to this you will work close to external partners in order to establish a robust operational foundation. Your role also involves close collaboration with other teams like Regional and Site Managers within Operations to enhance internal processes for better operations. This collaboration also extends to Commercial and Product Tech teams.

In this role your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Lead a team of different functions (30 people)

• Responsibility of creating the operational framework across all operational areas in the Swedish market. Together with your team you will strive to improve the overall efficiency and performance regarding the processes routines and supporting functions

• Responsible for Instabee assets and strategic decisions related to this (i.e 30 terminal real estate a fleet of 300 trucks)

• Drive the integration of operations processes and governance between Instabox and Budbee

• Develop processes for all essential functions and adapting the overall guidelines for the Swedish markets

• Have close collaboration with other functions and markets primarily commercial product/tech and global business units for home & box product offering

• Be a part of the management team in Sweden

• Provide input and insights related to overall budgeting for your functions and to the overall plan for future operations concerning fleet size purchasing strategies asset management partner relations and how this affects various business decisions

• Ensure compliance regarding local laws and regulations as well as any contractual obligations for both internal and external parties in Operations

About you

You have the ability to thrive in a complex growth environment and have excellent cooperation skills. We are looking for a highly adaptable candidate who can switch between longterm strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid actions the next.

Qualifications

• A university degree in a relevant field (i.e. Business Administration Engineering etc.)

• 35 years of experience in operations and management and/or consulting where previous experience from a similar role is of merit but not a must

• Experience in a fast paced industry and/or tech company

• Datadriven and analytical

• Detail oriented and organised

• Passionate about coaching people and providing an excellent service

• Good commercial understanding and high work capacity gets things done

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
