Civilins statybos ininierius - CivilConstruction Engineer - Quality Assurance Engineer - Vilnius - Kaunas - Rukla

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to act as an inspector/quality assurance representative on one of three sites in Lithuania: Vilnius Kaunas and Rukla.

Tasks

You will be responsible to oversee the construction of one of the projects located in Vilnius Rukla or Kaunas. You wll be overlooking the construction contractor quality control personnel to ensure that quality requirements are met. Tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Supervision and monitoring of construction works through daily site visits and monitoring of compliance of works execution with the approved design and standards;
• Monitoring of compliance of products constructions raw materials and supplied components and equipment with the project technical requirements design and technical specifications through a review of the submission of the technical documentation prior the installation laying or placement;
• Attendance of tests on materials structures and subparts mechanical electrical and applicable technological systems advising and support the NSPA TR and the technical controller works acceptance;
• Issue and record of nonconformities and nonconformities reports and advise on method statements by the contractor for resolution of nonconformities and supervision of corrective actions;
• Provision of assistance to the client to resolve technical matters related to the project;
• Provision of specialist advice on engineering related queries
• Monitoring of work progress in respect of contractual deadlines and Construction Contractors work schedules
• Review of material submittals RFIs shop drawings and asbuilt documentations

Requirements

• Be registered in the chamber of engineers of his/her country of origin ( for example LSIS Lietuvos statybos ininieri sjunga)
• Have at least 7 years of professional experience in roles related to the quality control and/or works supervision.
• Have computer competence (Microsoft Office CAD Adobe);
• Knowledge of quality assurance/control principles and terminology:
• Have analytical skills problem/solving oriented;
• Have sound knowledge of testing standards and practices in accordance with the applicable International standards.
• Be Fluent in English
