HOD Maths needed in an International School in Gurgaon.
(Joining in Jul23)
Job Details -
The candidate should minimum be a Postgraduate with Mathematics as specialization.
The candidate must be equipped with IB teaching background & have school teaching experience.
10 to 15 years of teaching with IB curriculum is must.
Should have taught in MYP and DP both
Leadership experience would be an added advantage.
Knowledge and experience of different other curriculum will be considered as a desired qualification.
The candidate should be a dynamic, enthusiastic person with the commitment and flair to work with students of all abilities.
The ideal candidate should be innovative and well organized, should have the capacity to raise achievement through motivating and inspiring students, be competent in IT Skills and commitment to work.
Take a lead role in the managing and teaching of the curriculum in her/his department area across the school.
Contribute to the teaching of overall developmental areas including but not restricted to Theory of Knowledge, CAS, Clubs and Activities.
Evaluate and review the curriculum design in keeping with Examining Board requirements, school requirements and changing international school practices.
To develop, implement and monitor subject policies and procedures.
Engage with leadership, colleagues, students, and the school community to create a dynamic, aspirational, and innovative culture
Contribute to the teaching of overall developmental areas including but not restricted to Theory of Knowledge, CAS, Clubs and Activities.
