Senior Network Engineer

If you join you will be working in the Media Voice & Mobile Services squad within the Infrastructure and Collaboration Services tribe.

Responsibilities:

• Taking the lead for all automation and deployment needs
• Providing guidance to the squad in implementing the best practice guidelines for automation
• Develop and maintain tools to improve troubleshooting and monitoring of our voice infrastructure
• Automate/Execute operational sysadmin tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent by experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to efficiently process data & automate routine tasks:
  via scripting (bash perl phyton powershell VBA )
  by using (REST & SOAP) APIs offered by different platforms (CUCM Oracle SBC )
  by consulting directories via LDAP SQL XML
  providing your colleagues with a simple (php) frontend to launch automated tasks & scripts
• Knowledge of LINUX
• Knowledge of encryption mechanisms (SSL certificates SIPTLS SRTP )
• GIT Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools CI/CD

Nice to have:

• Any relevant professional IT certifications will be considered a
• Basic knowledge (awareness) of network Infrastructure (switches routers firewalls servers loadbalancers)
• & protocols (VLANs IP TCP/UDP QoS DHCP DNS SNMP NTP TACACS Radius )
• Basic knowledge of Windows Servers & Active Directory
• Basic knowledge of telephony protocols especially SIP & RTP (incl debugging via Wireshark)
• Being able to design implement maintain and troubleshoot
• Being able to zoom out (see the big picture) and zoom in (indepth analysis of tasks & dependencies)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio Powerpoint & Excel
