Accounts Officer Revenue Operations

Rchilli Inc. is a leading HRTech company that provides HR Technology solutions to the organizations across globe. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Accounts Officer with a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and experience in Revenue Operations (RevOps) to join our dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Recognition:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with accounting standards.
• Perform detailed revenue analysis and reconcile variances.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of revenuerelated controls.
• Undertake special projects and analyses related to revenue and operations.

2. Financial Reporting:

• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements with a focus on revenuerelated metrics.
• Assist in the development of reporting tools for tracking key performance indicators related to revenue.

3. Contract Review:

• Review customer contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment of revenue.
• Provide insights on contract terms that may impact revenue recognition.

4. Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for external audits.

5. CrossFunctional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Sales Marketing and Customer Success teams to streamline processes and improve overall RevOps efficiency.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss revenuerelated matters and provide financial insights.

6. Billing and Invoicing:

• Oversee the billing process ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer invoices.
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to address billing inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Experience level 14 years
• Previous experience in Revenue Operations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles especially as they relate to revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with SaaS or subscriptionbased business models.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High IQ levels and zeal to learn.
• Knowledge of revenue automation tools or ERP systems.
• Previous experience with contract review and interpretation will be an added advantage.
