Embedded Camera Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Camera Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing algorithms for image focusing contrast detection and distance measurement. The primary focus of this role will be on the implementation and optimization of embedded systems for camera sensors autofocus technologies and motorized lens control.

Tasks

• Algorithm Development: Develop advanced algorithms for image focusing contrast detection and distance measurement. Optimize algorithms for realtime performance on embedded systems.
• Programming Skills: Demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as C/C and Python. Collaborate with the software team for seamless integration of algorithms into the overall system.
• Embedded Systems Integration: Communicate with various sensors including PDAF CDAF TOF and IMU. Implement primary data processing and fusion from these sensors.
• Motorized Lens Control: Design and implement drivers for lens control motors to enable precise focus adjustments. Collaborate with hardware engineers for seamless integration of lens control mechanisms.
• Autofocus Technologies: Work on autofocus technologies including phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and contrast detection autofocus (CDAF).Optimize autofocus algorithms for different scenarios and lighting conditions.
• Sensor Calibration:Collaborate with the calibration team to ensure accurate and reliable sensor data. Implement calibration routines for embedded camera systems.
• Documentation: Document the design implementation and testing of embedded camera systems. Create and maintain technical documentation for algorithms and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing algorithms for image processing and focusing.
• Strong programming skills in C/C and Python.
• Experience with embedded systems and sensor integration
• . Familiarity with autofocus technologies and camera sensor technologies.
• Knowledge of motorized lens control mechanisms.
