DevOps Engineer

Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Earth City MO 63045 (No relocation Only Locals) Hybrid
Position Type: FullTime

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer in our St. Louis MO office. This position plays a critical role in helping to improve development processes deployment automation and application infrastructure for our cloudbased applications. As a DevOps Engineer you will partner with development architects and systems engineers to propose implement configure optimize maintain monitor and improve our underlying cloud infrastructure. You will create CI/CD processes and deploy application updates for critical systems via these pipelines as well as being a key in monitoring and managing Azure cloud spend. Our ideal candidate has a serviceoriented mentality a strong sense of ownership an aptitude for collaboration with architects and engineers and effective communication with team members and application stakeholders.

Our DevOps Engineer will:

• Achieve deep understanding and knowledge of the current Azure Cloud Implementation (integrations operational workflows etc.).
• Work closely with the Technical Services Team and CSP to provision and maintain standard secure reliable and consistent Azure Cloud implementations across the company.
• Maintain and enhance Azure Cloud resources configure monitoring and alerting of Azure resources and ensure Azure resources are optimized for performance and cost.
• Promptly identify communicate diagnose and resolve all technical issues/shortcomings.
• Monitor and assess production systems and logs and alerts for production issues.
• Design and maintain production dashboards to improve responsiveness and effectiveness to production issues when they arise.
• Create maintain and improve Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines monitor performance and resolve observed or reported issues.
• Implement Continuous Delivery and execute automated or manual deployments of applications.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in an ITrelated discipline such as Computer Science Computer Programming and/or relevant field or demonstrated work experience equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience provisioning configuring supporting and monitoring systems and applications in Azure.
• Minimum 4 years experience implementing CI/CD processes and pipelines in Azure.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a software engineer or software architect.
• Must be a selflearner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results.
• Detailoriented and customer serviceminded with experience working with outside vendors to deliver custom web and distributed solutions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
