Job Description
To work with delegated service users who remain the responsibility of the
Registered Physiotherapist often working without direct supervision in a variety
of inpatient and community settings including the service user s own home.
To provide physiotherapy support to service users who have a range of mental
health conditions and/or learning disabilities.
To engage service users and their carers in therapeutic programmes of care and
encourages them in a compassionate manner to support them in achieving their
identified goals and to promote independence and wellbeing.

- To show commitment to and participate in quality improvement activities.
To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions
and learning disabilities.
To promote at all times a positive image of the Physiotherapy Service and the
wider Trust.
Requirements
We are looking for a physiotherapist with paediatric experience preferably within the community. We work with a variety of conditions including MSK Neuromuscular developmental and coordination difficulties in a range of settings including clinics homes maintstream schools and special school environments. The base will be in Skelmersdale which is within easy reach from the M6.
