The role
As our System Engineer Perception Expert within AD/ADAS you will be a part of our Advisory Services department. In this role you will guide our clients in creating safer and more advanced products. Youll be responsible for connecting important areas to develop and validate perception systems for cuttingedge autonomous driving solutions. Our team provides invaluable guidance to clients where you translate the goal of building safe autonomous vehicles into precise perception system KPI requirements annotation context content and quality.

We address crucial questions such as determining the level of detail required for groundtruth data labeling to ensure reliable system KPIs and safety certifications. Challenging the status quo our team delivers candid advice and challenges clients preconceptions. Our ultimate aim is their success which necessitates a deep understanding of their needs effective guidance credibility in interactions and a structured work approach.

Additionally the teams domain expertise will be shared companywide for educational purposes and to provide valuable inputs to our product teams.

We see that you have:

• A Master degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or equivalent education
• At least three years of experience working with AD/ADAS sensor data (e.g. camera lidar or radars)
• At least two years of experience working with Computer Vision and Machine Learning
• Proficiency in Python and databases like SQL or similar

If you have experience in AD/ADAS functions system development or validation or are familiar with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) or SOTIF it is a big plus.
