Position: Web Content Writer

Duration: 612 months with potential extension

Location: 100% remote (CST/EST time zones preferred but not required)

Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Writer to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and impactful content across various channels with a primary focus on email content creation. This role requires a versatile individual who can seamlessly transition between content types ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and a keen understanding of the target audience.

Responsibilities:

• This resource will act as a right hand to the Sr Manager Content Writing and work hand in hand with the leadership on projects and daily tasks.
• Responsible for creating email content: Act as a bridge between content and email writing understanding the nuances of crafting content for email journeys compared to blogs or longform pieces.
• Create compelling and effective email content that resonates with the target audience.
• Update and elevate existing content transforming it into a more simplistic and accessible format.
• Ensure content remains current and aligns with evolving business needs including creating content for flyers newsletters blogs etc.
• Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to develop and launch programs.
• Understand the elements necessary for program development creating content visuals and other related materials.
• Demonstrate the ability to jump in and execute tasks with minimal guidance.
• Take ownership of contentrelated projects and deliver highquality work consistently.
• Write newsletters blogs emails and contribute to website updates.
• All content creation will be done in Word; design elements will be handled by the creative team.

Qualifications:

• Mid to seniorlevel experience in content writing especially email marketing.
• Proven ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Setting standards and mentoring junior resources.
• Ability to start on day one hit the ground running and quickly adapt to the organizations size and scope.
• Understanding of working in a business environment.
• Awareness of the roles significance in the overall organizational structure.
• Writing samples showcasing content writing experience are REQUIRED.
• Demonstrate an understanding of user experience and the ability to align content with brand language. What is important in the first introduction to the email How do you incorporate brand language and guidelines
• Strong proofreading skills noticing and correcting errors in content.
• The position is a longterm contract requiring commitment and dedication.
