Instabee serves millions of consumers across Europe with convenient deliveries and is on track to become the leading European ecommerce enabler. Always with the customer at heart.

Were fast both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. So far our journey has taken us from Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia and parts of continental Europe but we have no plans to stop anytime soon. As we continue to expand our product offering to new merchants and geographic regions our logistical network and operations are getting increasingly complex.

About the role

As the Director Accounting you will be responsible for ensuring timely and correct consolidated financial figures according to IFRS for the Group. You will work closely with all functions within the Finance team (Accounting Controlling / FP&A) including the finance staff in our local subsidiaries and lead a small team providing guidance and mentorship.

You will also work closely with other departments to ensure that accurate and complete financial information is available for decisionmaking purposes. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in accounting and finance.

This role is a lot about continuing to develop towards a worldclass accounting and finance function and team. A large part of your work will be to drive projects and process improvements to increase efficiency accuracy and to give better insights from our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports according to IFRS

• Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and regulations

• Develop and monitor internal controls relevant to the Groups financial reporting processes

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Proactively monitor and model the Groups financial position including liquidity and capital structure in cooperation with the CFO

• Taxrelated matters including transfer pricing and as a result help to minimize tax exposure for the Group and its legal entities

• Evaluate and implement appropriate group consolidation software

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and insights for decision making

• Key contributor to the Group audit process and coordinate with external auditors

• Member of the Finance Leadership Team actively contributing to the strategy and performance of the entire finance function

About you

To succeed as a Director Accounting you will have several years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of leading an accounting function. Beyond that we imagine you will have the following bullets on your resume:

• Masters Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field

• Fluent in English and Swedish

• 7 years of experience in accounting finance and group consolidation including working in multinational businesses

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards including IFRSreporting

• Great analytical skills

• A good communicator with leadership skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software

• Experience working in Netsuite is a strong plus

• Experience from publicly listed companies is a plus
