Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist with our client, you will have the opportunity to implement top-tier physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities. With minimal supervision, you'll adhere to the principles and practices of physical therapy, in accordance with both state regulations and our client's policies and procedures. This role involves developing treatment plans, supervising assistants and aides, contributing to case management, and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. Building and maintaining positive relationships with facilities and clients is an essential aspect of this position.

Essential Functions:
- Understand and comply with state Practice Act regulations governing the practice and supervision of Physical Therapists.
- Review and adhere to the Clinical Operations Policies & Procedures Manual annually.
- Complete all required Medicare compliance training as per regulations and policies.
- Annual completion of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training, adhering to OSHA standards and other relevant governmental regulations.
- Evaluate, treat, and provide skilled treatment for patients with documented medical necessity for physical therapy.
- Maintain clear and ongoing documentation of goals, progress, and medical necessity.
- Timely completion of all required documentation (e.g., pre-certifications, physician reports, daily notes, charge tickets) to meet facility, physician, and payor deadlines.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
- Attend and participate in facility meetings directed by the Center Manager (e.g., utilization review, infection control, disaster preparedness).
- Complete ongoing continuing education coursework to meet state licensure requirements.
- Maintain a current CPR certification meeting state licensure requirements.
Required Credentials:
- Active Physical Therapy License in California or the ability to license in California
- Graduation from a physical therapist education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or, in the case of an internationally educated physical therapist, from a non-CAPTE accredited program seeking licensure as a physical therapist, a substantially equivalent education
