The part you ll play:

The Global Procurement team is responsible for the procurement of all materials and services for EDRI in all countries and is currently building appropriate processes to best support the performance and ambitions within EDRI.

We are looking for a motivated Working Student (m/f/d) to support our team in various operational tasks from A-Z.

We have a flat hierarchy and you will report directly to the Head of Procurement. This is a hybrid position with a mix of home office and on-site at our Headquarters in Essen, Germany.

Tasks

Some examples of your daily tasks:

• You support the Global Procurement team in the execution of tenders, analyses and requests for proposals
• You will provide support in the further development of processes, guidelines and recommended actions for purchasing
• You assist in developing our Plan-Build-Run Procurement approach further in close alignment with the EDRI regions
• You will keep key procurement and supplier data up to date and proactively reach out to stakeholders if information is missing

Requirements

What you ll bring to the team:

First of all, you must be enrolled as a student (m/f/d) at a recognized (technical) university - the subject is of secondary importance to us. Much more important:

• You are curious to get to know a Procurement organization in the making, seek to actively help to develop it continuously and you are also not afraid of managing operational daily tasks (e.g. write purchase orders).
• You have very good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Your German language skills are at a native level, your English skills are fluent
