System Administrator (m/f/d)

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our team to build, manage and extend our systems in production and office environments.

Tasks

• Installation, provisioning and maintenance of our systems
• Database and web server administration
• Implementation and maintenance of hardware and software
• Analysis of system, security, performance and capacity
• Monitoring and optimization of our production infrastructure
• Patch management and handling software release cycles
• Create and update technical documentation
• Participate in our team on-call duty rotation

Requirements

• Successfully completed apprenticeship in system integration or a university degree in a similar field
• 3+ years of professional experience in the mentioned fields
• Advanced working knowledge on administration of Linux operating systems
• Expertise in established scripting languages (Bash, Python, PHP)
• Hands-on experience in managing physical and virtual servers
• Experience in virtualization technologies, preferably KVM
• Profound knowledge in server monitoring
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Good communication skills in English
