الوصف الوظيفي
A small USDA certified, full service meat plant in Montana is searching for an experienced Beef Packing Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will oversee and implement quality control criteria for all cut, delivered and shipped product, interact with and grow customer base, manage facility employees and grow skill sets, track all inventory with state-of-the-art software programs, and work with ranch and feedlot managers to ensure adequate supply and demand projections. Skills and tasks specifically suited to this position include:
- Strong organizational skills and leadership ability
- Create and maintain efficient organizational and inventory management systems for product
- Implement and maintain excellent quality control with plant manager
- Create and maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Oversee projections for supply and demand with feedlot managers
- Follow markets and keep product pricing current and profitable
- Must be excellent communicator who enjoys working with a strong management team
- Must be interested in continuing education in this field and learning new technologies
- Must be willing to learn beef cuts and anticipate customers needs
