Junior Accountant

We are actively seeking an Accounts Junior to join our client based in Hendon, Greater London. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior accountant who likes variety in their work in an tech-driven environment. In this role you will provide accounting services to various SME clients.

Your role

In this role you will work on various clients operating through companies, limited liability

partnerships, ordinary partnerships, and sole traders carrying out the following:

• Bookkeeping
  

• reconciliations
  

• Prepare VAT returns
  

• Assist with monthly/quarterly management accounts
  

• Assist with statutory accounts preparation
  

• Assist with corporation tax and personal tax returns
  

• Office administration
  

Requirements

Is this you?

• Ideally studying towards your AAT qualification - study support offered
  

• The candidate should have at least two years of work experience gained in an accounting practice
  

• An enthusiastic and motivated team player who is conscientious and has an eye for detail
  

• Knowledge of Xero, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
  

• Has good time management and a methodical approach to complete tasks accurately and within a time frames
  

• Has a good grasp of accounting principles and VAT rules
  

• Have a valid UK driving license due to location.
