The I&O Desktop Computing and Management (DCM) team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Analyst who loves working with technology!
The DCM team is responsible for supporting all workstations, hardware and software, and this role is pivotal to the team s success. This position requires exceptional technical and problem-solving abilities along with excellent leadership, teamwork, communication, and relationship building skills.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of senior level experience in desktop support and must have experience in one or more following areas:
- Software configuration and packaging using MEM.
- Cloud-based end point management using Intune.
- Corporate IT desktop policies.
- Process automation using scripts.
- A Bachelor s degree or diploma in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
- In depth knowledge and experience in but not limited to:
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Intune
- Apple device management / JAMF
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Windows Group Policy
- PowerShell
- VMWare
- Citrix
- Customer oriented with patience to work with customers of varying technical abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, strong problem-solver who can work effectively under pressure.
- Leader with a big picture mentality bringing different perspectives and solutions forward.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Passion for continuous learning, researching new technology and tackling complex challenges.
- Able to mentor and coach team members.
- Project leadership skills would be highly beneficial.
- Microsoft certification would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Mac OS and Mac hardware device management would be beneficial.
- Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports client and Oracle workstation infrastructure would be an asset.
