As Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our development team and our customers to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in an accurate and timely manner. You will be responsible for providing support to the system integration team in our Berlin office and also directly at the customer sites. You are responsible for providing first software support from flashing, to troubleshooting, and initial system testing.

Tasks

• Prepare and maintain ECUs, cameras and test equipment;
• Support different testing activities such as system testing, user testing;
• Collaborate with the AI team and project managers about their data acquisition needs;
• Conduct data acquisition workshops at the customer site.

Requirements

• You have a bachelor s or master s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• You have working experience in technical support, or as a technical engineer.
• You have strong problem-solving skills.
• You have the ability to clearly communicate on technical topics with non-technical colleagues and across levels in the organization.
• You have previous experience in a customer-facing role, a clear customer focus and the ability to understand the customer s immediate needs and issues.
• You are familiar with automotive communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Flexray) and related tools.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• You have an independent working mentality, proactive attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• You have good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
