Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sort and distribute all incoming and interoffice mail and deliveries, prepare and send mail and deliveries received for home-based employees.
Verify receipt of all deliveries prior to signing vendor delivery tickets/logs.
Secure all deliveries as required; obtain signatures/verification of packages distributed or picked up.
Coordinate monthly asset disposal inventory and scheduling.
Order and stock internal mailroom supplies (e.g. shipping supplies, copy paper, etc.).
Arrange for service on office equipment; communicate with vendors to achieve a timely response.
Function as a liaison for local vendors (couriers, shipping vendor, and property manager) as well as for internal groups.
Assist with new hire set up as needed. Acquaint new employees with office procedures
Participate in annual budget and purchase order process.
Seek to identify cost-effective purchasing alternatives.
Maintain an accurate log of daily deliveries for review by the office and/or facility manager.
