Position Summary:
Seeking a passionate and dedicated individual LPN/RN to join our Nursing team! LPNs/RN's generally provide routine care, monitor medical conditions, assist providers in the delivery of care, and communicate with patients and their families. Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Under the supervision of the RN(s)/LPN(s), directs and guides patient teaching and participates in care delivery that is commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. LPNs/RN's perform consistently in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Experience:
Prefer at least 2 years of clinical experience
Prefer experience in an inpatient setting
Experience with Eating Disorders or Mental Health preferred
Education: LPN or RN
Licensure: NC Licensed LPN or RN
Major Accountabilities:
Administering medications and other somatic treatments
Consulting with other clinicians on the treatment team in the care of complex patients
Develop and document the nursing portion of treatment plan,
Operate medical equipment relevant to patient care
Documents patient-related data and services in accordance with organizational policy and requirements
Conducts initial nursing assessment for new patients
