As a leading provider of climate neutrality solutions, First Climate is actively involved in the development and implementation of projects to preserve and increase carbon stocks in forests, soil and other ecosystems. As a member of our Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) team, you will support us in sustainable NCS projects benefiting the global climate and their local environment, with a focus on Carbon Asset Development.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Carbon Asset Development of NCS project types, applying carbon standards such as VCS and Gold Standard
• Authoring of project documents and monitoring reports
• Assessment and calculation of carbon performance of NCS projects
• Support the sourcing and assessment of project opportunities
• Support investigations related to carbon markets and NCS projects

Specific Requirements

You have a Master's degree in forestry, agronomy or environmental sciences and at least 1 year of professional experience related to land-use, forestry, carbon markets or carbon standards. You are a self-motivated individual with entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy working in intercultural teams and are fluent in English. German skills are a plus.
