Senior Manager Controlling and FP&A (m/f/d)

Your role at zolar zolar is a young company with high ambition and growth. To help manage our high growth from existing products, and our ambitions to expand our products and international markets, we are looking for a Senior Manager Controlling and FP&A. Headquartered in Germany, this is an excellent opportunity for a high caliber FP&A expert to join a growing business and work alongside the CFO to drive accuracy, efficiency and profitability.

What you will be responsible for:

• You will lead periodic (e.g. monthly, quarterly and annual) reporting, budgeting and strategic financial planning activities
• You will lead the delivery of robust financial analysis to challenge financial performance both at single project, product level and overall business level.

• You will be a strong business partner to individual business units and company leadership team.
• You will drive the performance of FP&A team with a focus on innovation and excellence
• You will help develop mid-and long-term financial goals in line with the strategic direction of the company
• You will continually evolve the reporting of business performance to reflect changes in our rapidly evolving business, including modelling of asset backed SPVs.

Your qualifications

• You have more than 5 years of relevant professional experience in corporate FP&A (or in combination with management consulting or investment banking).
• You have successfully completed a university degree.
• You have enough experience and knowledge of controlling / accounting (IFRS and German GAAP) concepts to be effective in your role.
• You are familiar with excel and financial modelling. You are able to build complex models but able to simplify and present KPI driven dashboard.
• You are fluent in English, and preferably in German.
