Your role and goals

We are looking for a Financial Analyst that is excited to join our scale-up tech company. Do you share our team's passion for numbers and analytical thinking in all finance and accounting-related activities? Taking ownership and playing a crucial part within our team is what you are looking for? Then this job and Productsup is for you!

In your first 3 months you will:

• Get up to speed with Productsup s product, business and the company s legal entities.
• Understand the team s processes and tools
• Become the key contact and support person for your Business Partner Department

In your first 6 months and beyond you will:

• Set up the cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Manage cash balance in multiple entities
• Set up a FX risk management process
• Support the accounting team in the month end closing process
• Be in charge of our weekly payment runs
• Manage our dunning process

What you bring to the team

• 4+ years experience of relevant professional experience in the field of finance (either through having many years of experience in accounting and wanting to apply your knowledge in controlling or vice versa)
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and react flexibly to changes
• Solid knowledge of Excel/ Google Sheets is essential (further knowledge of our finance tools such as Datev or Salesforce and Zuora is a plus)
• HGB knowledge is a plus
• Being a trustworthy partner for other departments and being able to pass on your knowledge
• Hands-on mentality in combination with your rapid comprehension of sensitivity, trustworthiness and a strong sense of loyalty
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (German is a plus)
