Fintico is an in 2022 founded Fintech in the Embedded Lending space. We are building an Embedded Lending Marketplace the CHECK24 for instalment loans at the Point of Sale. We offer online shoppers a transparent choice of banks and interest rates to finance their purchase in a best possible way.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our engineering team. You will be involved in designing Fintico s product at the very earliest stage and play out your skills in a highly motivated team. You will be responsible for new features and a scalable architecture to enable the future of Embedded Lending.

Tasks

• You will be one of the core employees in a hands-on team that takes pride in high coding standards and modern development practices.
• Use technologies like Node.js, Vue.js, TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes and modern databases to build and scale our platform.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with other teams to refine product features and brainstorm ideas.
• Your first tasks are supporting the migration of our dockerized infrastructure to AWS and the extension of our Node.js backend with additional functions to automize customer processes.

Requirements

• Experience building a product end-to-end, through the technical design, coding, testing, and deployment phases.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable architectures.
• A deep understanding of backend production systems.
• Follow best practices for privacy and security.
• Experienced in JavaScript, TypeScript, and two other programming languages.
• Plus: Have experience working on payments systems or risk systems.
