HVAC Technician

​Job Description

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
• Assisting with customers’ queries.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Maintenance and troubleshooting HVAC systems in offshore/onshore sites
• Offshore experience is mandatory.
• Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Technically qualified with ITI / Diploma in Electrical
• Good communication (Verbal & Written) & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, electrical, and other applicable equipment.
