Research And Development Engineer

As R&D Engineer, you will beresponsible for developing and improving a wide range of production processes. The role requires variety of technical engineering skills ranging from mechanical designs, manufacturing automation systems integration and process controls.

• Participating in planning, executing, and monitoring experiments to test new concepts or refine existing products or processes
• Keeping abreast of advances in technology in their field of expertise to ensure that company products continue to be cutting edge
• Communicating with other departments such as marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure that they understand the purpose of the project and can provide input or assistance if needed
• Developing new products that meet customer needs while considering costs, material requirements, and manufacturing processes
• Creating detailed engineering plans for new products based on customer specifications or scientific research
• Analyzing data to determine whether products meet customer expectations or legal standards
• Conducting research on new materials or design concepts, using computer modeling software or laboratory equipment such as wind tunnels or particle accelerators
• Testing prototypes to determine how well they meet technical specifications
• Developing new technology or engineering processes for commercial use by creating computer models of new designs, performing calculations to ensure that structures will be structurally sound, and conducting tests to gauge performance
