Job Description:

The STP Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining and operating our sewage treatment plant. This position is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the STP to safeguard the environment and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sewage treatment equipment and systems.
  
• Monitor and control sewage treatment processes.
  
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  
• Collect and analyze samples for quality control.
  
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  
• Record and maintain accurate operational data and logs.
  
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and upgrades.
  
• Assist in training new operators and staff.
  
• Participate in emergency response and containment activities.
  

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in wastewater treatment is preferred.
  
• Proven experience as an STP Operator or in a related role.
  
• Knowledge of sewage treatment processes equipment and systems.
  
• Understanding of environmental regulations and safety protocols.
