Job Description
Designation: Content Writer
Job type: Fulltime Permanent
Salary: 20000..00 per month
Experience: 1 years of B2B & B2C writing experience preferred
Education: BA/BS degree is required preferably in marketing business or communications.
Location: Pune
Roles: The Content Writer is responsible for executing all written deliverables. The Content
Writer will produce a wide range of content and copy from strategy documents buyer
personas and positioning statements to blog posts case studies ebooks white papers
webinar decks landing pages website copy email copy sales collateral and more. You
need to be organised methodical and capable of keeping multiple projects ongoing at
at the same time. While the role exists primarily within the marketing team it will also be
required to contribute written materials for the content product sales and account
management teams. With an understanding of the target audience the candidate is
expected to help drive more value through online content. Additionally he or she is
expected to analyse marketing metrics and collaborate across departments to execute
initiatives. A proven track record of writing content and analysing it for engagement
lead generation and conversion is required for this position.
Responsibilities
Help with a monthly quarterly and yearly content calendar. Conduct market research
for the content calendar using web sources interviews academic research etc.
Create eyecatching concise and creative headlines and body text for social media
and digital marketing campaigns.
Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms
Writing SEO Content blogs over 2000 words website and landing page content
(websites blogs articles social updates banners case studies guides white
papers etc.)
Collaborating with campaign managers the creative team and designers.
Drafting standard business proposals and pitches to clients in a sophisticated format.
Creating crisp content for SMS and Whatsapp campaigns.
Drafting simplistic and easily comprehensible video scripts.
Provide solutions in content writing for different industry verticals
Requirements/Skills:
Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of SEO and keyword research
BA/BS degree is required preferably in marketing business or communications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong prioritisation organisation and project management skills
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment and prioritise deadlines accordingly.
