Job Description
Overview:
As an SAP ABAP Consultant you will play a crucial role in the development customization and maintenance of SAP applications to meet the specific needs of our organization. You will be responsible for analyzing and designing solutions collaborating with crossfunctional teams and ensuring the smooth integration of SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP programming language
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of developed programs
- Design and implement data migration and integration processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed programs and processes
- Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP applications and interfaces
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize SAP system performance and implement enhancements
- Participate in system upgrades and new module implementations
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP development processes and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant or Developer
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration with other systems
- Experience in developing and customizing reports interfaces forms and workflows
- Familiarity with SAP data dictionary and database management
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design efficient technical solutions
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Relevant SAP certifications would be a plus
