What is the job about

The SafetyEngineer plays a key role as part of electronic design engineering activities. TheSafety Engineer is responsible for performing Safety analysis on electronic devices developed by Clue.
The Safety Engineers main responsibility is to ensure that safety objectives are met for Clue products.This includes reviewing designs from a Safety standpoint carrying out prediction analysis and recommending improvements to the design in close cooperation with developers.

What will you do

• Conduct reliability modeling and prediction analysis on electronic equipment.
• Perform a complete range of analyses including FHA FTA SSA CMA SEE OHSHA HSIA SSA PSSA
  
• Conduct FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and prepare FMES (Failure Mode Effect Summary).
• Collaborate closely with designers and influence the design in order to meet RAMS requirements.

What profile are we looking for

Mandatory:

• Engineering degree level (or equivalent) in electronics/industrial/aeronautical.
• Knowledge of electronic systems.
• 4 years of experience as RAMS engineer with a focus on analog power and digital electronic design analysis reliability analysis and astrong focus on safety assessment.
• Proficient in using software tools for MTBF Prediction.
• Experience in statistics.
• Proficient using Excel and Excel macro (VBA).
• Fluent in written and oral English and Spanish.

It will be an added value if you have:

• Knowledge using BQR fiXtress: Component Derating and Realistic MTBF Prediction.
• Background in the aerospace or defense field.
• Knowledge about the following standards: MILHDBK217FN2 FIDES ECSS dependability and safety standards (MILSTD882E).
• Knowledge about the following guidelines: ARP SAE 4754 ARP SAE 4761 and AMC 25.1309
• Understanding of system design based on requirements.
