Job Description:
The Maintenance Planner role is responsible for delivering routine planning services to sustain a proactive culture for all individuals performing maintenance functional tasks. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring qualitative maintenance plans and job packages are prepared for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prioritizing safety and environmental considerations through job safety analyses method statements and permitting requirements.
• Establishing an adequate backlog to support plant scheduling efforts.
• Monitoring planning accuracy to continuously improve planning for repetitive jobs.
• Contributing to asset Bill of Material (BOM) development to increase planning and job execution efficiencies.
• Maintaining a library of job task lists for easy access and identification of repetitive work planning.

Major Duties:

• Development of job plans identifying safety hazards permitting requirements tools equipment and required PPE.
• Building a backlog ready for scheduling with time requirements assigned to job tasks.
• Prioritizing job development based on asset criticality and customer prioritization.
• Supporting maintenance planning scheduling and execution strategies.
• Assisting in contractor coordination and performing service entries of completed services.
• Requisitioning as part of the planning activity.
• Assisting in the development of preventive maintenance plans.
• Managing all corrective and preventive job plans/task lists.
• Serving as a local master data manager within the plant SAP PM environment.
• Creating bills of materials (BOMs) for plant assets.
• Serving as a SAP PM subject matter expert for the plant.
