Job Description

We are seeking a parttime Front Desk Receptionist who will work closely with our Office Manager to manage the front office lobby while also assisting with administrative tasks. This candidate must be detailoriented organized and have the ability to handle more than one task at a time. In addition the candidate should have basic administrative skills and be willing to work both independently as well as collaboratively.

This role will be onsite in our Bryan TX office.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming environment by monitoring the front desk and assisting guests.
  • Assist the Office Manager with inventory needs.
  • Answer the office phone and direct necessary calls to the right person.
  • Manage the conference room schedule and reservations.
  • Assist in keeping lobby area conference rooms and general office space clean.
  • Receive and deliver mail/packages to the appropriate person and send mail as needed.
  • Assist with welcoming interviewees and informing the hiring manager that the candidate has arrived.
  • Assist the Office Manager with the rented office space needs.
  • Assist in planning holiday parties office lunches and team building events.
  • Support the Office Manager and Marketing Manager with decorating the office space.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative position preferably as a Receptionist Office Manager Assistant or similar position.
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must be able to multitask in an office environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
  • The ability to keep a professional demeanor positive attitude and be a team player is key.
  • Ability to manage time and schedules.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Preferred Education

Completion of or current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with a major in Communication Studies Human Resources or a related field is highly preferred but not required.
