Job Description

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Overview

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join their growing team in their McLean VA office.

The Financial Planner will embrace technology enjoy a collaborative environment and value serving clients in a fiduciary capacity. The Financial Planner will work in our financial planning department with other experienced financial planners and collaborate with financial advisors to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions to our clients. The opportunity will allow you to develop and gain access to outstanding market and growth opportunities while adding stability and capacity to the overall business operation.

Duties and Responsibilities


Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Economics Financial Planning or other related fields
  • CFP Designation preferred
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of financial planning and/or client relationship management experience
  • Fundamental knowledge and handson experience working with financial planning software
  • Indepth knowledge of key financial planning concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on relationship building and management with the team and clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team player
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software on an intermediate to advanced level
