Electrical Engineer SSU

We are actively seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with 35 years of experience and a strong background in battery technology electrical systems or solar power. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining electrical systems and components ensuring they meet performance and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cuttingedge projects in the renewable energy and energy storage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experienced in overseeing and contributing to the success of large scale solar wind and battery storage projects as an electrical engineer.
  

• Experienced in design and review of detailed singleline diagrams (SLD) for high/medium/low voltage systems.
  

• Experience in design and development activities to come up with system level architecture schematics wiring diagrams and component specs.
  

• Experience in integration testing and validation of components such as Inverter BMS IoT device etc.
  

• Create documentation to capture all phases of development and integration of the product.
  

• Experienced in preparation and reviews of electrical equipment specifications such as batteries inverters cables and other electrical commodities.
  

• Performs and reviews power system studies including load flow or reactive power studies short circuit studies arc flash harmonic analysis etc.
  

• Software skills such as AutoCAD PVsyst etc.
  

• Good understanding of relevant industry standards codes and compliance requirements for renewable energy projects.
  

• Monitor work progress against plan report on progress and propose remedial measures as and when necessary. Perform other functions as may be assigned by Team Lead from time to time.
  

• Preparation of noncompliance report prepare check list project completion report and attend meeting with clients.
  

• Guides clients on optimal electrical systems and requirements tailored to meet their needs ensuring full compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements :

Technical expertise:

• Good theoretical knowledge and understanding of electrical and electronics systems
  

• Hands on experience in power electronics embedded systems control engineering digital communication and instrumentation
  

• Background knowledge in LiIon battery engineering Battery management system IoT devices solar power inverters and power converters
  

• Good understanding and experience in serial communications and CAN.
  

• Good practical knowledge in electrical system integrations wiring soldering and crimping practices measurement equipment and instruments
  

• Previous work experience in the solar / Battery/renewable energy industry is an added advantage.
  

Qualification:

• Bachelor s /Masters degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
  

• Minimum 35 years of experience in engineering environment with utilities EPC contractors or design consultants
  

• Openminded and flexible to transfer technical requirements to competitive design & execution solutions.
  

• Detail oriented organized and used to work in a team environment.
  

• Experience in battery technology for storage application is a plus.
  

• Good communication and presentation skills and a selforganized way of working in an intercultural environment.
