JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking one parttime intern to work with our marketing team to develop industry content for our social media platforms and website.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
We are seeking one parttime intern to work with our marketing team to develop industry content for our social media platforms and website.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Create publications and content for use on our website and social media platforms by using electrical engineering industry knowledge and concepts.
- Work with marketing team to brainstorm develop and produce print and digital media for emails handouts for trade shows brochures customer communications presentations recruiting materials and other external marketing material.
- Brainstorm new campaign ideas using power industry knowledge.
- Research best practices market insights/trends and competitive activities.
- Familiarity with power industry and electrical engineering concepts.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions from concept to completion while maintaining an attention to detail.
- Must be pursuing a degree in electrical engineering.
- Must have taken or be currently enrolled in Power System Analysis and Power System Protection (ECEN 459 & 460).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel).
- Previous experience education or exposure to the power industry/renewable energy.
- Experience designing digital and print materials.
- Experience creating using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with WordPress or similar content management system for website design.
