The role of the Electrical Engineer is pivotal in supporting and overseeing the planning execution handoff and evaluation stages of designated modernization capital projects. As a vital member of the Engineering and amp; Modernization team this individual will manage multiple capital projects concurrently across the manufacturing footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and review engineering design plans conducting intricate calculations for designated modernization capital projects.
- Design and assemble electrical systems and their components ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow engineers site personnel vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to guarantee the efficient operation of the Rod Mill facility.
- Regularly inspect and evaluate electrical systems machinery and equipment to identify potential maintenance needs or areas for enhancement.
- Utilize analytical skills to diagnose electrical failures pinpoint root causes and implement effective corrective measures.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of electrical maintenance repair and upgrade projects in partnership with maintenance teams minimizing disruption to production schedules.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies for electrical systems and components to bolster equipment reliability and prolong operational lifespans.
- Analyze electrical performance data to recognize trends anomalies and opportunities for enhancing efficiency and conserving energy.
- Contribute to the design and execution of new electrical systems installations and modifications ensuring alignment with safety standards.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of electrical maintenance activities modifications and repairs to ensure regulatory compliance and informed decisionmaking.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of robust experience with Siemens and control automation.
- 3 years of handson experience in PLC programming.
- Preference for proficiency in SAP SCADA PLC/Logic programming Siemens and Rockwell.
- Experience in rod mill operations and compounding is advantageous.
