Role Overview: This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the CEPI SLDS data warehouse requiring independent judgment and coordination of data administration and management methods. Expertise is essential in Microsoft SQL Server database support and professional knowledge of CEDS standards. The role involves strategic and tactical information design business analysis security data modeling and transitioning ETL processes from onpremise to cloud servers.

Database Environment:

• Multiple SQL Server instances
• Multiple Collection Environments (Development Quality Assurance/Testing PreRelease and Production)
• Numerous SQL Reporting Services Servers
• 35 collection databases
• 100 analysis databases

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and expand/maintain data pipelines including extraction transformation and loading activities.
• Perform data preparation analysis and reporting troubleshoot technical issues and provide expertise for ETL jobs.
• Collaborate with developers business and team members to design and deliver highquality data.
• Manage data analysis and database activities including maintenance enhancement and design of data dictionaries physical and logical database models and performance tuning.
• Coordinate physical changes to computer databases code test and implement physical databases.
• Establish physical database parameters define database objects and control access using SQL and DCL.
• Monitor database performance using utility programs direct changes to the database management system and review/correct programs.
• Evaluate user requests incorporate them into the shared data environment and provide technical assistance.
• Ensure data integrity and control redundancy load databases reorganize as needed and perform data modeling and prototyping.
• Develop and execute ETLs conduct logical and physical data modeling design relational database models and assist with security recovery procedures.
• Implement and enhance standards on database security monitor disaster recovery procedures and systems.

Top Skills/Requirements:

• 12 or more years of experience in the field.
• Bachelors degree.
• Complex ETL development experience.
• Database Services (Azure).
• SQL Data Modeling/Structure.
