Job Description
We are looking for legal counsel to join our team. In this role you will provide legal support to the company on a wide range of matters including:
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts including agreements relating to procurement service consulting distribution external manufacturing sales license intellectual property franchise leave and license and other legal agreements
- Conducting legal research and providing advice on a variety of legal issues
- Assisting with mergers and acquisitions due diligence and other corporate transactions
- Assisting in managing and resolving legal disputes
- Working with external counsel as needed
Qualifications:
- LLB degree from a recognized law school
- 4 years of experience in a corporate or inhouse legal setting. Retail experience will be preferred.
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
