Job Description
Develop and enhance web applications specifically tailored for the research publication process including manuscript submission systems peer review platforms and content management systems.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and responsive designs that cater to the needs of researchers editors and publication staff.
Integrate applications with backend services and databases ensuring seamless data flow and storage for large volumes of academic content.
Implement features that support complex workflows involved in manuscript submission review editing and publishing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards for data privacy security and accessibility particularly for users with disabilities.
Optimize applications for maximum speed scalability and reliability ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience across various devices and browsers.
Work closely with product managers content specialists and academic advisors to understand user requirements and translate them into functional applications.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in web technology Angular and the scholarly publishing industry to continuously improve platform features and performance.
Troubleshoot debug and upgrade applications addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Angular Developer with a strong portfolio of projects in web development preferably in the research publication or related industries.
- Proficiency in Angular Node.js SQL S3 bucket and related web development technologies.
- Experience with RESTful API integration and a solid understanding of the full web technology stack.
- Knowledge of scholarly publishing workflows standards and best practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with content management systems and academic databases.
- Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality usercentric applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
Content Presentation: Host and present videos with confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Develop a unique on-screen persona that resonates with the target audience. Present scripted and ad-libbed content in a clear and engaging manner. Research and Scripting: Conduct thorough research on topics to be covered in videos. Collaborate with the content team to develop well-structured scripts. Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is presented in an accessible manner. Interviews and Collaborations: Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and influencers. Foster a comfortable and engaging environment for interviewees. Collaborate with other content creators for joint projects and collaborations. Audience Interaction: Engage with the audience through comments, polls, and social media. Foster a sense of community by responding to viewer feedback and questions. Encourage audience participation and involvement in channel activities. Video Production: Work closely with the production team to ensure high-quality video production. Collaborate on the development of creative visuals and on-screen graphics. Participate in pre-production meetings and post-production reviews. Brand Representation: Represent the brand professionally and consistently. Maintain a positive and approachable image both on and off camera. Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities. preferred! Public Speaking, Language, Stamina, Self-Motivated, Time Management, Research, Ethics. Every week one day, 4 days per month.
