Job Description

Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking two dedicated Bilingual Customer Service Representatives to join their Distributor Contact Centre (DCC) team. As the first point of contact for internal business partners and external clients (distributors) you will manage inquiries via telephone or email correspondence. Your role will be crucial in providing support related to contracting transfers recognition and compensation issues for distributors aligned with various distribution channels.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $24 to $25 based on experience.
3month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Provide prompt and accurate responses to distributors inquiries demonstrating a superior commitment to meeting their needs.
Research and resolve inquiries of varying complexity related to contracting transfers recognition and compensation.
Utilize problemsolving negotiation and conflict management skills to address and resolve issues.
Collaborate with internal business partners to deliver effective solutions.
Gather and document detailed information from distributors to resolve requests and concerns.
Meet preestablished service level agreements (SLAs).
Participate in ongoing service improvements.
Contribute to team overtime during peak periods (March to May).

What you will need to succeed:

Postsecondary education required
Bilingual (English/French) proficiency verbal and written.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Minimum of 1 year experience in handling difficult situations and problemsolving.
Strong research skills and attention to detail resourcefulness in finding information.
Previous customer service experience (case management hospitality etc.).
Technical competence in maintaining an information database and producing ad hoc reports (nicetohave).
Presentation skills for telephone and facetoface meetings (nicetohave).
Proven ability to multitask.
Confidence in learning and applying new information quickly.
