Senior Java Developer MES Manufacturing domain

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze design and develop Javabased applications for MES in the manufacturing domain.
• Implement and customize software solutions to meet specific manufacturing requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis design coding testing and deployment.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for large manufacturing operations.
• Integrate and interface with various manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Debug troubleshoot and resolve software defects and operational issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior development team members.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in MES and manufacturing software development.
• Document software designs technical specifications and test plans.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and quality of developed software.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for MES applications in the manufacturing domain.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of software components and technologies.
• Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of existing MES software solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in Java software development particularly in the context of MES and manufacturing applications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
• Proficiency in software design and development using Java J2EE and related frameworks.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL Oracle or MySQL.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems and their functionalities.
• Knowledge of industryspecific standards and protocols such as ISA95.
• Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and communicate effectively.
• Experience in agile software development methodologies.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of security and compliance considerations in software development.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
